The marine park covers an area of approximately 22,000 hectares and spans over 100km of coastline and adjacent ocean, extending from Kinghorn Point in the north to Sussex Inlet in the south and including most of Jervis Bay.

The marine park is a multiple-use park that aims to conserve marine biological diversity and marine habitats, while catering for a broad range of recreational and commercial activities.

Highlights of Jervis Bay: The bay offers beaches, rocky platforms and reefs, extensive seagrass beds, estuaries, deep-water cliffs with caves and dolphins are a regular sight in the crystal-clear waters.

Activities in Jervis Bay: Scuba diving, swimming, surfing, boating and fishing are all popular. Picnic facilities and walking tracks are available in the surrounding Jervis Bay National Park.
